Original Magnetized Poetry. Dave Kapell, Magnetic Poetry's creator, experienced songwriter's block, leading to the crafting of our kits. He wrote words on small pieces of paper and rearranged them for inspiration. This experiment was interrupted by allergies: a sneeze would send the progress flying. Dave glued the words to magnets, which ultimately landed on a refrigerator for guests to rearrange. This led him to sell 100 kits. Now, Magnetic Poetry has sold 3 million kits and expanded the line. Our Original and Poet kits are popular, creating love poems and amusing messages. Other uses include quirky notes and slang. We offer themed kits, made in the U.S., which add variety to the base product. We've also created foreign language and children's kits, and small word boxes, to expand the user experience.
